As Brent wrote on the site post: HAPPY HOLIDAYS! For this show I spent 2-3 days trying to think of ideas and like 30 minutes before the show started Brent came up with the idea for story moments. Needless to say, if my first few "contributions" aren't up to par that's because I was struggling to recall events so I apologize! Were you as affected by our story moments as we were? Who you callin douche bag ya bastard? I knew Tietras death would show up in one of the list somewhere. Aeris death would be my number one as well, as I had a similar experience with having to play the beginning of 7 over and over. I could never beat the machine boss inside the elevator so for some reason I kept restarting all over. I can remember after it happened, that night I couldn't go to sleep, I was just in shock, staring at the ceiling.
And holy s***! Nick mentioned Baten Kaitos. That definitely is such an epic moment, and he's right, any hints will more than likely give it away. But it's well worth playing it just for that alone. If you ever do review it, id love to be on that episode.

I just wanna say that before even listening to this episode I was all ready to bet the farm that Brent's #1 was a certain death in ff7  I was right... lol. On another note; One of the most memorable moments in an RPG I remember was when you learn that Zio is not the final boss of Phantasy Star 4...... Nor was Dark Force...... It seemed like there was always something bigger and badder and it was just done so perfect for me! On a less serious note, I will also NEVER EVER EVER FORGET when Jaha went flying through the side of the Boat in Shining Force 2 and it left the outline of his sprite for you to see. Was just a perfect moment! |

Ahh man, Phantasy Star 4 was such a good game!
Might have to go back and replay it myself some day soon!
