Going to throw this in here for anyone who wants to hear an album that is both in Swedish and in English. The band made it in both languages, so it might be a bit fun just hearing it, even if you guys don't get the Swedish part. I love me some symphonic and power metal.
Some of my favorites are: Sonata Arctica, Masterplan, Rhapsody (of Fire), Wintersun, Twilightning, Stratovarius, Kamelot, Helloween, Edguy, Avantasia... I could go on lmao.
I'll have to listen to Sabaton when I get off from work.

I am mostly in to the same things as you Nick.
There is a German band, Powerwolf. I can recommend that aswell, have a listen.
Amen and attack. Resurection by erection. Those are two good songs to start off with.

I am mostly into Power and Classic metal. But there are some horder groups I have heard that I liked, so I am not at all impossible for suggestions!

Haha, I know, Powerwolf is awesome. And their liveshow is cool as hell the way they interact with the audience.
Sabatons album was mostly due to the fact there was a swedish and a english version of the same tracks I close that album. I do not know if you heard any more albums, but they are quite different from eachother.
I listened to some Kalmah, so far I like what I hear. Going to listen more when I come home from work.

Have you heard of the band Gloryhammer? Nothing special in itself perhaps, but it is kind of easy on the ears and, well, I saw them live. Was a damn fun/good/entertaining show they put up!
And if you have not so far, check Powerwolf out on youtube. The official music videos are sweet.

Nope, never heard of them I'll give them a listen as well.
Speaking of bands we've seen live, there was a band called Mutiny Within that I saw live because they were opening for Sonata Arctica and I thought they were fantastic. They only put out one album before breaking up though.
And I use Youtube to listen to all of this music haha so yeah, saw some of their vids. Good shit.

There is a local band from here, I think some songs are great, some are a bit so so. Much about the mood, the band is Civil war.
I will rule the universe, is a song I find catchy.
