Sweet I remember playing this back in the day. I do not remember much but wasn't this a part 1 and there is a second part where you could upload your previous game save?

Also the battle style reminds me of Beyond the Beyond. Are you guys playing this on Gameboy or the wii?

You can either use two GBAs (or one GBA and the Gamecube adapter) or copy and enter in a HUGE ASS CODE to transfer your data to the second game, Golden Sun: The Lost Age. |

That's right I remember being pissed because I didn't have a second Gameboy and then never played the second game. It was also the year I started college and pretty much stopped playing video games for a few years.

I only got like halfway through the second game.
It's way more fun and polished than the first one, but it's also like 6 times as long lol.

What was the benefit of uploading the save? Keep all your gear? I have the Wii u so I might look into getting it.

What was the benefit of uploading the save? Keep all your gear? I have the Wii u so I might look into getting it. Each of your characters transfer to the next game exactly as you had them. All the same levels, stats, gear, etc. All of your djinn get transferred and they and some of the psynergy only items are required for the optional dungeon IIRC. You keep your money and stuff too I think. There are 3 tiers of transfer though: Bronze, Silver, and Gold or something. The higher the tier, the more text you have to write down and copy over but the more stuff you keep. The most important thing is the djinn and the items. |

At the moment I'm headed to Fuchin Temple or w/e. Sorry for the radio silence from me and Nick lately. Memorial day is a super heavy work load for me plus the wife and I have been trading illnesses. Nick has been ya know busy with his new lady friend. We are supposed to record an episode tonight and should be on schedule for the golden sun review next weekend.

Yup great job guys. I remember I liked the game a lot. It has a lot of similar qualities to Beyond the Beyond also made by Camelot but really improved apon.
